The big new trick is liquid that actually behaves like liquid, viscous and splashing and pooling where you'd rather it didn't. You route it like a river and turn it into Goo Balls; sometimes you just need it to put out a fire. Everything else grows out of that, including new species like Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers and Explosive Goo, each with properties you learn the hard way. Five chapters, more than 60 levels, extra challenges layered onto each. The story is quietly barbed, too: a powerful company has rebranded itself as a green, sustainable, non-profit Goo processor, and it would very much like you to harvest as much Goo as possible on its behalf. Dozens of new tracks keep the haunting tone of the original. Mostly you'll be counting how many Goo Balls you can afford to lose, and wondering what's at the far end of that pipe.
