Club Soko

Maude cannot walk past a blank wall in a nightclub without tagging it, and that compulsion is what drags her down through the six floors of Club Soko, past bouncers and clubgoers who have had far too much. The puzzles are block-pushing in the Sokoban tradition, more than a hundred of them handmade, drawing on eleven different kinds of piece. Undo is generous. A bad shove costs you nothing but a few seconds, which keeps the harder rooms from turning into a grind. Two sorts of secret room hide in the layouts, and thirteen cameo characters borrowed from other indie devs and their games turn up as unlockables. Every chapter brings its own music, with a chill mode if you'd rather listen than sweat. There is also a puke toggle, which tells you most of what you need to know about the tone. And a circle pit, in a puzzle game.
