A life insurance policy on your own team is a legitimate strategy here: Finance Dudes generate cash when the rest of your roster dies. That is the register How Many Dudes? operates in. You run the Dude Ranch, recruiting from 42 Dude types across six families, then send them out to autobattle waves that escalate from toddlers to wolves to gorillas to gods. Relics and boss-earned Trinkets warp the rules further, so you end up deciding whether the Wizards get ADHD or the Samurai get a taser. With a claimed 850,000-plus team compositions, the real game is hunting the combos that look broken because they are. Ensemble Mode lets you pre-select a dream team when you would rather test a theory than take what a run hands you. Silly on purpose, but the offense-defense math underneath it is not.
