Every task in The NOexistenceN of you AND me starts the same way: say hello to the girl. It does not stay that simple. She turns up in your room one day, and hundreds of choices later you are a king weighing advice from suspiciously loyal ministers, a baker deciding whether she really gets to eat the strawberry cake, a man refusing to hand a time machine over to someone called FONTAINEBLEAU. Somewhere in there sits a Demon Lord in a silvery forest and a date at the end of the world. Lilith declines to have a character introduction at all, on the grounds that however you read her is already the introduction. Short, surreal, more unsettling than frightening, and the unease comes from how casually the ground keeps shifting under a story about whether she exists in the first place.
