Bioweaver gives you basic programming logic and lets you wire your own skill sets from it, so a build stops being a menu choice and becomes something you assembled yourself and can go back and fix. The crafting system pulls in the same direction, growing organs with their own attributes and functions to slot into your character. Treasure hunting feeds all of it, since what you drag home decides what you're able to put together next. This is an RPG that asks for more thought upfront than most, and it clearly expects you to enjoy that part. If fiddling with systems until they click is your idea of a good time, the tinkering is the game.
