Some scratchers pay out steadily. Others dangle a monstrous number in front of you and hide a penalty that can gut a run, and choosing between the two is most of what Scritchy Scratchy actually asks. You start off scratching by hand, thumb dragging across the ticket, hunting rare symbols. Then the upgrades come in: better odds, faster scratching, new card variants with their own rules. Eventually you unlock Scratch Bot, which peels the tickets for you while the balance climbs on its own, and the thing quietly stops being a fidget and becomes a machine you tune. Prestige wipes the run for Jack Points, permanent upgrades that shape the next attempt into something cautious or completely unhinged.
