She could kill you faster than she does. That is the unsettling part of Saiko no Sutoka, because Sayaka Chan is not a lumbering horror-game slasher on a patrol route, she is a serial killer who enjoys the chase and stretches it out. She toys with you. You are the one being hunted through the school, with nothing to fight back with and only escape as a goal, which means every corner you turn is a guess about where she wants you to go. The yandere premise gets used a lot in horror; what sets this one apart is an antagonist who feels like she is thinking. Being spared for another minute is not mercy here.
